Objective
To bring ideas to life, invigorate hand-looms, and help the craft grow. Usage of sustainable fabrics, recyclable materials, research, and meticulous attention to detail to create a compelling brand story. To cultivate close relationships with the artisans and work collaboratively to create something that is relatable to the intricate and delicate handwork.
Approach
There are some traditions that are universal. Inspired by the traditional block printing, a series of combinations of mordant and resist stamping and dyeing enabled Indian printers to create uniquely complex designs. Taking elements from the delicate hand embroidery and block printing die-lines, to create a form that alludes into the form of a pillow cushion or a beautiful sham.
