Objective
The typographical design should perform optically what the speaker creates through voice and gesture of his thoughts. Through a synthesis of typographic knowledge, I explored advanced methodologies in the development of transmedia visual experiences.
Creating transmedia experiences through typography
This newspaper contains snippets from the book Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling, explained through typographical imagery. Harry Potter is the boy who lived, the smartest and talented wizard in Hogwarts. It is in his tenure at the Hogwarts school of witchcraft that he got a family that he never had, and discovered the dark side of magic.
A contextually appropriate
visual languages
Approach
A rigorous exploration of alternative methods and execution strategies to develop form and define a unique aesthetic. Letterform anatomy and design, proportion systems and layout are employed to deliver contextually appropriate visual narratives.
Herbology
Where most Muggles’ biology lessons might involve planting cress or dissecting leaves, Herbology classes at Hogwarts were liable to be a more dangerous affair. Devilsnaire hates sunlight! quite odd for a plant, but not in the wizarding world. Typographic imagery created by image manipulation and scanning twigs.
